Will DJI Phantom 5 Drone Ever Happen?

The likelihood of DJI launching Phantom 5 drones is possible. It might happen this year but we think it will likely get introduced in late 2020, early 2021. It is a long way but from what it looks like that the company is not saying a lot about the drone yet. Specifications and features are still up in the air. However, we will love to see major improvements for the upcoming DJI Phantom 5 drone.

Since the DJI Phantom 4 drone launched in 2016, there hasn’t been any news about the possibility of a fifth generation. Mainly because of the fact it has to do with FAA’s proposal to integrate ABS-receivers and broadcasting device on the new drones. That being said, DJI Mavic 3 Pro drone is very likely and will be happening this year. If proven to be a success, we might see Phantom 5 drone following afterward.

Besides, it is past due time for the company to introduce the fifth generation of Phantom 5 drones. Interchangeable camera, better camera, longer flight time, bigger remote control distance. Now, who doesn’t want any of these nice major upgrades? It is going to be an awesome professional-grade camera drone for beginners, travelers, and professionals.
